Data processing on our website

General information

When you visit our website, various of your data are processed in order to improve the use of our wide range of information offered and to be able to identify and eliminate possible weaknesses.

Server log files

When you visit our website, a variety of information is collected and stored in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This is in particular: the browser type and browser version, the operating system used, the referrer URL (original website from which the user came to our website or file), host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.

For the creation of access statistics, we evaluate anonymised IP addresses, so that no personal reference can be made here.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the website operator. Third-Party Tools

Matomo

We use Matomo (formerly: "PIWIK") on our website. This is an open source software with which we can analyze the use of our website. It processes your IP address, the website(s) of our website that you visit, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the time you spend on our website and the frequency with which you visit one of our websites.

To collect this data, Matomo stores a cookie on your end device via your Internet browser. This cookie is valid for one week.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis and optimization of our website.

However, we use Matomo with the anonymization function "Automatically Anonymize Visitor IPs". This anonymization function shortens your IP address by two bytes, making it impossible to assign it to you or to the Internet connection you are using.

Cookiebot-Usercentrics

This website uses Usercentrics' cookie consent technology to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your device and to document this in compliance with data protection regulations. We use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform to fulfill the legal obligation under Article 7 (1) GDPR. The operator is Usercentrics GmbH, Rosental 4, 80331 Munich, Germany. You can specifically select or deselect the cookies of individual technologies via the privacy settings. Usercentrics Consent Management Platform collects log file data, user agent (device, browser type, browser language, browser version, resolution) and consent data (consent yes/no, timestamp, data scope, data attributes, ControllerID, ProcessorID, ConsentID) via a JavaScript. This JavaScript enables Usercentrics GmbH to inform users about certain tags and web technologies on our website and to obtain, manage and document their consent. Explanation of the most important terms and principles

  • Personal data mean individual details about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or (with a certain amount of effort) determinable natural person, i.e., in addition to the name, address and telephone number, also all other data that describe this person or their behaviour in more detail in any way.
