Data processing on our website
General information
When you visit our website, various of your data are processed in order to improve the use of our wide range of information offered and to be able to identify and eliminate possible weaknesses.
Server log files
When you visit our website, a variety of information is collected and stored in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This is in particular: the browser type and browser version, the operating system used, the referrer URL (original website from which the user came to our website or file), host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.
These data are processed on the servers of our Internet service provider and will be automatically deleted after 14 days. This processing activity is not a basis for automated decision-making (profiling). We reserve the right to verify these data retrospectively, if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use, e.g. to detect and prevent hacking attacks.

This processing activity is not a basis for automated decision-making (profiling). We reserve the right to verify these data retrospectively, if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use, e.g. to detect and prevent hacking attacks.
For the creation of access statistics, we evaluate anonymised IP addresses, so that no personal reference can be made here.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the website operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Cookies
The Internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
The cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When deactivating cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services.
Links to other websites
This website also contains links to websites of other providers, to which our data protection notice does not extend. As a rule, we have no influence on the content and compliance with data protection regulations by these providers and therefore ask you to inform yourself about the guidelines applicable there when visiting these websites.
Third-Party Tools
Matomo
We use Matomo (formerly: "PIWIK") on our website. This is an open source software with which we can analyze the use of our website. It processes your IP address, the website(s) of our website that you visit, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the time you spend on our website and the frequency with which you visit one of our websites.
To collect this data, Matomo stores a cookie on your end device via your Internet browser. This cookie is valid for one week.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis and optimization of our website.
However, we use Matomo with the anonymization function "Automatically Anonymize Visitor IPs". This anonymization function shortens your IP address by two bytes, making it impossible to assign it to you or to the Internet connection you are using.

Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
Usercentrics is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR.
We use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform to fulfill the legal obligation under Article 7 (1) GDPR. The operator is Usercentrics GmbH, Rosental 4, 80331 Munich, Germany. The aim is to know the preferences of our users and to implement them accordingly and to document them in a legally secure manner. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for our logging and there are no legal obligations to retain it.
You can permanently prevent the execution of JavaScript at any time by making the appropriate settings in your browser, which would also prevent Usercentrics from executing the JavaScript. Explanation of the most important terms and principles
- Personal data mean individual details about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or (with a certain amount of effort) determinable natural person, i.e., in addition to the name, address and telephone number, also all other data that describe this person or their behaviour in more detail in any way. This includes, in particular, all digital data traces that each of us leaves behind on the World Wide Web by using the Internet. This person with his or her data is also called the data subject.
- The processing of your (personal) dataincludes all activities from collection, storage, use, modification, transmission or transfer to deletion. It does not matter whether this is done electronically, i.e. by computer, or otherwise, i.e. for example on paper.
- A specific data processing of your personal data is also referred to as a processing activity. Each processing activity pursues a specific, to be named processing purpose and requires, among other things, a specific, also to be named legal basis, otherwise the processing is not permitted.
- The datacontroller is the person who ultimately determines the purposes and means of processing your data. It does not matter whether the controller is a person, a company or other association, public body or the like. The controller can make the decision about the purposes and means of processing alone, together with others or on behalf of a third party.
Future changes to our data protection policy
In order to ensure that our data protection policy always complies with the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the data protection policy has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services, products or functions on the website or other processing activities.
